North Wales Crusaders are delighted to welcome Darren Ivor Morson he will join Carl Forster's backroom staff for the 2024 season, as well taking on some administrative roles within the club.
Morson is no stranger to this role as he previously held this position at fellow League One club Midlands Hurricanes and for the Wales Men's international team in last years Rugby League World Cup.
Morson commented
"As a passionste welshman I'm extremely delighted and excited to be joining North Wales Crusaders.
I had the luxury of coming in during last season's play-offs and getting involved on matchdays to get a feel of the club and I was blown away by the atmosphere not only from inside the club but from the Supporters who I know from experience are one of the most vocal in League One.
Darren will be added to the board of directors, this will strengthen the club's relationship with Wales Rugby League.
Morson added "Once talks started with Andy Mousldale about possibly coming in as director, it was a very simple decision and i would like to thank everyone involved at Midlands Hurricanes, who without them and the support, I wouldn't be where I am now.
I hope to improve relationships and help with improving pathways for Welsh players coming through the game, as its vital being now the only semi professional club in Wales.
Darren will still hold his WRL team manager position along with his duties at North Wales Crusaders.
