SIX PLAYERS TO DEPART NORTH WALES CRUSADERS.

North Wales Crusaders would like to thank David Gibbons,Jordon Andrade; Matt Fletcher, Jack Houghton; Brad Billsborough and Bradley Brennan for their services as they are set to leave for pastures new next season.


Gibson's joined from Hunslet ahead of the 2022 season, he made a total of 13 League and Cup appearances for North Wales Crusaders this season, playing in the half back position and also filling in at full back later in the season.


Gibbons scored 3 tries and kicked 7 goals this season for the North Wales outfit.



Andrade joined North Wales Crusaders after having played for Jamaica in the 2021 Rugby League World Cup which was hosted in England in 2022.



Andrade was ever present for North Wales Crusaders in 2023 having starred for the Welsh Club on 22 occasions, scoring a total of 10 tries, the Jamaican last appearance was in the League One Play-Off final which ended in defeat against Doncaster.



Jack Houghton also says farewell to North Wales Crusaders after 6 glorious seasons.

He has played a total of 108 games for the club and was one of the fans favourites.



Houghton made 19 appearances this season scoring a total of 6 tries, his last appearance was in the League One promotional final on 24th September.



Also we say a fond farewell to Matt Fletcher


Fletcher joined North Wales Crusaders ahead of the 2022 season from Dewsbury Rams.


In total he has made 46 appearances in those two seasons scoring a total of 5 tries.



We say goodbye to Brad Brennan who joined in 2018, making a total of 74 appearances, scoring a total of 8 tries.



Brennan last appeared in a North Wales Crusaders shirt in round 14 in North Wales Crusaders 20-30 defeat to Hunslet at Chester in June.



Finally we say farewell to German International Brad Billsborough who will link up with the Midlands Hurricanes in 2024.




Billsborough joined North Wales Crusaders in 2020, making 52 appearances, scoring 9 tries and kicking 88 goals, bringing his total points haul to 213.


Billsborough last appeared for Crusaders against Cornwall at Rhyl in round 19 which saw the hosts suffer a shock defeat 38-40.

We know Brad Billsborough is off to Hurricanes and Jordon Andrade is off to Hornets....what plans do the other 4 have?
