Our Foundation has been shortlisted to receive funding from North Wales Police Your Community, Your Choice Fund.
Our exciting project will get young people active through Rugby League and tackle anti-social behaviour
The programme will deliver 20-week block programmes in regions of North Wales (Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire, and Wrexham). We aim to engage with 40-50 young people. The focus will be on Rugby League and attracting young people through the game and the North Wales Crusaders brand.
The programme will involve a blend of rugby training sessions, personal development, and volunteering opportunities through the foundation. Each session will have dedicated
coaches who will mentor and advise the participants on life skills. We will also work closely with the professional club to have guest appearances from players and for participants to attend North Wales Crusaders games. This will create a holistic package to positively change the attendees' behaviour.
We are aware of several challenges in the North Wales region, which we are confident this project will help improve. This funding will greatly benefit the local community and young people.
